following compliance monitoring services:
For surface water
permits

Provide, install, maintain and operate automatic water level recorders
(telemetry optional);

Carry out flow measurements in open races, check for race losses;

Provide certification of accuracy of installed in-line water meters;

Download water use
information from dataloggers (i.e. ABB, SiteLab, SeaMetrics, Prosol & Hydroflow
etc), prepare reports and graphs of water
usage;

Provide water usage reports on a regular basis (daily if telemetry is
available);

Provide internet access to water use information (requires telemetry &
dataloggers);

Collect water samples for water quality laboratory analysis and reporting.
For
groundwater permits

Provide, install, maintain and operate down-hole automatic water level
recorders (telemetry optional);

Measure depth to water in bores to required Environment Canterbury standards;

Check flow rates in irrigation pipes;
-
Collect and report on water usage from in-line flow meters;

Download water use
information from dataloggers (i.e. ABB, SiteLab, SeaMetrics, Prosol & Hydroflow
etc), prepare reports and graphs of water
usage;

Provide internet access to water use information (requires telemetry &
dataloggers);

Provide certification of flow rates from new bores;

Provide certification of time taken for bore to recover 95% of pumping
drawdown;

Provide certification of accuracy of installed in-line water
meters;

Collect groundwater samples for water quality laboratory analysis and
reporting.
Water Quality
All sampling is carried out using the most appropriate
scientifically recognised and current methods. Samples are analysed by
laboratories certified for those analyses by an accreditation authority such
as International Accreditation New Zealand (IANZ) or an equivalent
accreditation organisation that has Mutual Recognition Agreement with IANZ.

Collect water samples (surface water and groundwater) for water
quality laboratory analysis and reporting as prescribed by resource consent
conditions;

Collect water samples for assessing compliance with the
Ministry of Health's New Zealand Drinking Water Standard 2000;

Collect water samples for the analysis of cyanobacteria and algae
in freshwaters;
-
Collect soil samples for laboratory analysis and
reporting i.e. timber treatment plants.
